Long Itchington Pre-school, was originally set up in 1979 as a community group with charitable status. Now, we continue to be a charity, but we use a not for profit Limited company to run the business.
Long Itchington Church of England Primary School serves the village of Long Itchington and the surrounding area. It is a one-form entry school with extensive grounds, including a large field, two playgrounds, a pond and a woodland area where the children enjoy ‘Forest School’ activities.
St Mary’s school was founded by the Sisters of the Poor Child Jesus in 1876. A double storey block was added in 1930, the Nursery Unit in 1975, which unfortunately burnt down in 2012. In 1987 the school was given over to the Archdiocese of Birmingham by the Sisters and in 1990 the new School Hall, Infant and administrative area was built.
Southam College is an 11-18 local authority maintained school in the heart of Warwickshire.
