WELCOME TO THE LONG ITCHINGTON COMMUNITY CENTRE!
The Centre exists for the village, is run by the village and was paid for by the village. Its sole purpose is to provide a facility where villagers can come together, whatever their interests or beliefs, and exercise, learn or simply relax and enjoy themselves in pleasant surroundings.
It currently hosts over a dozen village organisations including Brownies, Guides, History Group, St John Ambulance Badgers, T’ai Chi, Toddler Group, Youth Club, Wednesday Club, Women’s Institute and Yoga, all of whom meet on a regular basis. As well as these special interest groups, there are also the Spring and Autumn Shows. The Parish Council meets in the Community Room on the first Wednesday of every month and the Annual Parish Meeting is held in the Centre every May.
In addition to the various public organisations and meetings, the Centre can be booked for one-off occasions and private family functions. Please browse the topics to find out more about the facilities offered by the Centre and the hire charges for its use.
