Housing – an update on what’s in the pipeline

Long Itchington is facing five planning applications for new housing and the reality of 75 new dwellings to be built on land next to the primary school. The five proposals are: (1) A further 75 dwellings on land next to the school (appeal hearing at the end of January), (2) 85 dwellings proposed by Cemex on land next to Adams Close (application refused by SDC, but an appeal possible), (3) 59 houses on Marton Road Farm land, (4) 7 homes on Water Margin site, (5) 700 homes at Dallas Burston Polo grounds. At this stage all five are proposals and have NOT been accepted. If you want to know more a longer article will be published here next week.
