This year’s Parish Survey was conducted during January and February. Everybody in the parish was given the opportunity to express their views (anonymously) on a variety of topics – public amenities, village organisations, HS2 and many more. People were also asked their opinions regarding the future of the Green End field development. This project has been slow to get off the ground but the new LILAC committee was keen to gather public opinion before embarking on costly changes.
Everyone over the age of 11 were able to contribute to this years survey. In 2001 we achieved a response of 83%, which was matched this year. This is a very good response and shows that people in the parish care for their parish.
The results have been consolidated and are now available to review.

Volunteer Sheets
As part of the survey people were also asked to volunteer their time to help with the various organisations and activities going on in the parish.
150 people sent back volunteer sheets offering their time. These people are now being contacted.
If you completed one of the volunteer sheets and have not heard anything please contact Barbara Atkins (Parish Councillor) on 814921.
